Onsite Camping
During your training with Lost Paddle Rafting you are welcome to camp on-site as our guest. Once hired as a full-time staff member, you are encouraged to continue camping at our on-site guide camping area. The cost is $250 per summer + $50 refundable deposit. Bathrooms and limited showers are available. Most of our guides live on property while some rent space in near-by Canon City. All of us at Lost Paddle love our four-legged friends, though we do not allow them to live on-site for a multitude of reasons. You will need to find other lodging if you bring your dog.
Office Staff
Lost Paddle Rafting seeks out and employs several team members to support sales and check-ins at our 7-acre Royal Gorge Outpost just outside of Canon City, Colorado. Strong customer service skills are required to work in this role. In other words, you must be a people person and a quick learner with good communication skills. While working the front desk at Lost Paddle’s Royal Gorge Outpost you will be the face of our company as you’re likely to be the first to meet and greet our guests! This is an awesome position as you’ll not only meet people from all over the world, you’ll also be an integral part of their vacation experience. In addition, our office staff fill many other roles around the outpost in support of our daily river trip operations. Cleaning, lunch prep for full-day trips, retail sales, and occasional staging of shuttles are just a few of the many tasks you’ll assist with as one of our office team members. Welcome to Lost Paddle Rafting!
CDL Licensed Drivers

Make decent money and spend time with great people who love their jobs and play an important role by supporting the transportation side of a professional river outfitter. Call with any questions or stop in and meet us to see if our team at the Royal Gorge Outpost will be a good fit for you!
