The canyon walls rise a dramatic 1200 feet above the river with the narrowest section at about 26 feet across. You’ll pass through the historic Royal Gorge, rafting under the worlds highest single span suspension bridge, and along the Royal Gorge Route Railroad. What a great trip!! We went with a group of friends and a majority of us had never been rafting. The staff/crew were extremely helpful and friendly! We only did a half day trip, but we can’t wait to sign up and do a full day trip! The raft guides were knowledgeable and humorous, they knew a lot about the area.
